HardlyScribe is the first product in the We Hardly Work suite. It helps creators, researchers, students, operators, and small teams turn YouTube captions or uploaded audio/video into clean transcripts and exports.

What it does

Paste a public YouTube URL to use available captions, or upload audio/video when captions are missing. HardlyScribe formats the transcript with timestamps, builds lightweight notes, and gives you copy, TXT, and Markdown export options.

Why it exists

Long videos can hide useful ideas. A readable transcript makes it easier to scan a lecture, quote an interview, outline a talk, brief a teammate, or turn video research into written work.

How it is funded

The core workflow is free and supported by advertising. Founder Pro is handled manually through PayPal during beta for users who need priority support.
