HardlyScribe provides transcript tools for public YouTube captions and user-uploaded audio or video. By using it, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.

Content rights

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to process, copy, export, and reuse any video captions or transcript output. Do not use HardlyScribe for private, confidential, or restricted material unless you have permission.

Service limits

Direct YouTube URL transcription depends on public caption availability. If a video has no accessible captions, use the upload workflow. Upload transcription is limited by file size, model availability, and speech quality.

Founder Pro

Founder Pro payments are handled manually through PayPal during beta. Paid access currently means priority/manual support and early-access consideration, not automatic account features or guaranteed unlimited usage. Card checkout and automated entitlements are not public until verification is complete.

Advertising

HardlyScribe may show ads through Google AdSense. Ad behavior depends on approval status, geography, consent settings, and Google's ad systems.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee perfect transcript accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for a specific use. Human review is recommended before relying on transcript output for important decisions.
